As my aunt would say, the phrase “Siga nomas,” The direct translation is “continue no more,” which obviously makes no sense. What it really means is “just keep going” or “go right ahead,” and is something often said by bus drivers or store employees (hence why many Ecuadorians laugh at it). However, to me, the phrase really embodies my entire experience. Not only is it an incredibly Ecuadorian phrase, but it also accurately describes my entire attitude about who am I. Things get difficult sometimes; and there are occasions where I’d rather just shutdown., but I just have to “Siga nomas,” and keep going straight ahead, taking each day as it comes.
Everything I do, I do with you in mind. I miss your advice, love, laughter, smile. I miss you, miss you deeply. There are times where I wonder if you’re watching over me. Are you proud of what you see ? It’s might sound crazy, but I still carry your number in my cell phone. In hopes that one day, I’ll call and you’ll be on the line. I’ll admit, ever since your passing I haven’t been myself. I lost a great portion of who I used to be. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. It’s been two years, and honestly there’s not a day that goes by, that I don’t think of you. After all, you’re my motivation, for everything I choose to do. Two years, too long. A lot has changed within that time frame. Life works in mysterious ways, cause I’m finally pursuing all that I desire, little by little. But the one person who I thought would be here to watch the changes/accomplishments in my life, the one person I thought would be there, to help guide me; was taken away from me.

Yes, yes the only thing constant in life is change. Some fear it, others embrace it. I’ve come to embrace. How can one move forward, let alone better themselves without change ? It’s impossible. We may go day by day doing the same daily rituals. Thinking “same thing different day” ( I find myself, using this famous slogan as well lol) but take a look back, maybe a year ago even a month; notice any changes?….my point exactly.

Answer:
Bahaha, no. To “love” someone; you actually have to know them. Their good and bad, their highs and lows, their beauty and flaws. I don’t think you grasp all of this, at just one glance. There is however, lust at first sight. BIG difference. With lust you’re infatuated. Infatuation; is basically being possessed by an unreasoning passion or attraction. See the difference ? Love have meaning, reasoning and a connection….Love takes time. It’s not something you just see.
